The Mens Health Check allows for basic wellness blood screen along with prostate specific blood test (PSA) and prostate assessment.

This medical consists of two steps.

​

1. A blood test appointment with the health care assistant.

You will be able to book this appointment online. 

This blood test will check for basic blood screen comprising PSA, liver functions, kidney functions, cholesterol, bone profile (excluding Vitamin D), glucose and full blood count.

2.​ 20 minute face to face GP appointment    

After your appointment with the healthcare assistant has been completed, a member of our administrative team will be in contact to organise your 20 minute GP appointment. We advise at least 5 working days between these appointments, so the blood results will be back to us in time to discuss them.

The GP appointment will consist of a review of the results of the tests taken by the health care assistant, a general physical examination  and a prostate examination.

Please NOTE: We are not able to refer to NHS services and will not be able to issue an NHS prescription.

With your consent, a summary of the consultation will be sent to your own NHS GP to keep your medical records up to date.
